Coach
I’ve played various sports throughout my life including Basketball, Tennis and Soccer.
I got started in CrossFit because my wife, Meghan, convinced me to give it a try after she went and did “GI Jane” for her first workout (100 burpee pull-ups for time).
I’ve been coaching for 3½ years.
My coaching philosophy is rooted in virtuosity — performing the common uncommonly well. I believe a solid base of strength combined with excellent technique on functional movements translates very well into all areas of life.
My favorite movement is power cleans.
What I love most about the CFTC fam is seeing all walks of life walk in and give their best effort, day in and day out.
If I could have one superpower during a workout, it would be to shut off that voice in my head that tells me to stop or slow down.
A quote I live by is:
“You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help enough other people get what they want.” – Zig Ziglar
When I’m not at the gym, you can find me hanging out with my smoking hot wife and awesome kids.
